Vail Resorts to Acquire Whistler Blackcomb Holdings in $1.39B Strategic Partnership

Whistler Blackcomb Holdings, Inc. and Vail Resorts, Inc. have announced a strategic partnership that sees Vail acquiring 100% of Whistler Blackcomb stock. The agreement was unanimously approved by both Whistler Blackcomb and Vail Resorts Boards of Directors, and has voting support representing 25 percent of Whistler Backcomb’s common share holders.
