Earlier this year we reported that Westlife Distribution had acquired Matix clothing. Westlife, parent company to 686 has just announced that it will be holding on to some key athletes representing the Matix brand.

 LOS ANGELES, CA (September 4, 2012) – After being purchased by Westlife Distribution in July and moving into a new office in LA,  Matix Clothing is back at it, re-signing the brand ambassadors, Daewon Song, Marc Johnson and Mike Anderson as well as professional surfers Turkey Stopnik and JJ Wessels.
Daewon and MJ have been with Matix since the beginning and it was only natural to continue on with the relationship. Mike Anderson plays a key role as well, and each of their signature collections and personal style add a different flavor to each season.
On the coastal side of things, Turkey and JJ are new to the program and will be holding it down in the water.  Look for signature collections that include board shorts, shorts, tees, hoodies and accessories from these guys as well.
