Vans Canada recently announces that both Alex Forbes and Bob LaSalle have been promoted to new roles within the Vans Canada marketing team.

Alex has been promoted to the role of Senior Marketing Coordinator.  He will be responsible for supporting the marketing team and initiatives for core and family footwear channels, as well as managing event coordination and providing support to the Vans athlete team.   Alex joined the Vans Canada team in October 2009 and worked most recently as a Marketing Coordinator, where he was responsible for two of the biggest Canadian Marketing executions to date ­ the Van Doren Invitational & House Of Vans at Vice Island.  Alex is a dedicated team player and always makes sure everyone’s voice is heard.

Bob LaSalle has been promoted to the role of Marketing Coordinator. He will be responsible for supporting the marketing team and initiatives for lifestyle, sporting goods and DTC channels. In addition, Bob will serve as the point person for communication, interactive & fixture management. Bob joined the Vans Canada team in February 2010 and worked most recently as a Visual Merchandiser, where he was responsible for setting the brand visual standard in the province of Quebec and the Maritimes. Bob has been an important part of the Vans team , he has been a leader with the logistic of major in store build outs and National events.
